Galvanised Duct T Piece – The Compact Way to Join Two Extract Runs Into One
Sometimes there simply isn't room for an elegant sweeping junction. The ceiling void is shallow, the joists are in the way, or two ducts need to meet at a right angle in a tight corner. That's where a T piece earns its keep: a compact, square-on galvanised steel junction that brings two duct runs together into one.
It has three male outlets, so ducting slides over and seals directly onto each one. Because the branch meets the main run at 90 degrees, a T piece is best used for extraction, pulling air in from two points. If you need to push air out to two places, a Y piece is the better choice.

How to Fit
Slide ducting over each of the three outlets and seal each join with aluminium foil duct tape or jubilee clips.
🔧 Pro-Tip: connect the run that needs the most extraction (usually the steamier room) to the straight-through outlet, and the secondary room to the side branch. Air takes the path of least resistance, and the straight path wins.
