Quick Release Ducting Clip – 4" to 12" Duct Clamp (Jubilee)
The weakest point in any ventilation system isn't the fan or the filter. It's the joint between them. Ducting that's just pushed onto a spigot will creep, sag and eventually drop off, usually in the middle of the night, leaving your fan blowing into thin air. A ducting clip turns that loose push-fit into a joint that stays put.
These are quick-release clips. Instead of winding a long screw from fully open, you clip the band round the ducting, snap it closed, and give it a few final turns to tighten. Releasing it is just as quick, which makes swapping a filter or moving a fan a two-minute job.
Sizes
| Clip | Fits ducting |
|---|---|
| 4–5" | 100–125mm (4" and 5") |
| 6–8" | 150–200mm (6" and 8") |
| 10–12" | 250–315mm (10" and 12") |
Each clip covers a range, so one size fits two duct diameters.
How many do I need?
Two per length of ducting, one at each end. A typical tent setup (filter, fan, ducting out) needs about four.
Not just for growers
- Tumble dryer, kitchen and bathroom extractor hoses
- Portable air-con exhausts
- Workshop dust and fume extraction
Rose's Pro-Tip
"Clip it, then tape it. The clip holds the ducting on, and a wrap of aluminium tape over the joint seals the last little air leak. Together they make a joint that's both secure and airtight, which matters for odour control."
