Galvanised Male Duct Coupling – Metal Ducting Joiner
Galvanised Male Duct Coupling – Joins Two Lengths of Ducting Into One
Ducting always seems to come up half a metre short, or the perfect length gets cut in the wrong place. A male duct coupling is the fix: a short galvanised steel sleeve with two male ends. Slide one length of ducting over each end and you've got a single, continuous run, strong, round and leak-free, with no sagging, taped-together overlap.
Perfect For
Extending grow tent and grow room ducting, repairing a cut or damaged duct, joining two different ducting types (such as Sonoduct to Aluduct), cooker hood and kitchen extract runs, tumble dryer and bathroom vents, and workshop extraction.
Key Features
- Male-to-male joiner: ducting slides over both ends
- Keeps the joint rigid and perfectly round
- High-quality galvanised steel: rigid and corrosion-resistant
- Accurately sized for a close, low-leak fit
- Six standard sizes from 100mm (4") to 315mm (12")
Male or female?
Use this male coupling to join two lengths of flexible ducting. To join two male-ended fittings (bends, T pieces, reducers), use our female duct coupling.
How to Fit
Slide a length of ducting over each end, secure each with a ducting clip or jubilee clip, and seal both joins with aluminium foil duct tape.
Rose's Pro-Tip: "Use a coupling to put a short length of acoustic Sonoduct straight after your fan, then switch to cheaper Aluduct for the rest of the run. You get most of the quiet for a fraction of the price."
Sizes
100mm (4"), 125mm (5"), 150mm (6"), 200mm (8"), 250mm (10") and 315mm (12").
