Galvanised 90° Duct Elbow – Metal Ducting Bend
Galvanised 90° Duct Elbow – The Corner That Doesn't Cost You Airflow
Air hates corners. Every time flexible ducting is bent sharply round a wall or ceiling, it crumples on the inside of the bend, and that crumple acts like a half-closed door. Your fan works harder, gets louder and moves less air. A rigid 90° elbow solves it: a smooth, fixed-radius galvanised steel bend that turns the corner without pinching the airflow.
Perfect For
Turning ducting up through a ceiling or out through a wall, grow tent and grow room extraction runs, cooker hood and kitchen extract, tumble dryer and utility vents, bathroom and loft extract fans, and workshop dust and fume extraction.
Key Features
- Fixed 90° bend with a smooth internal radius
- Stops flexible ducting kinking and crushing at corners
- High-quality galvanised steel: rigid and corrosion-resistant
- Male ends: ducting slides straight over and seals
- Six standard sizes from 100mm (4") to 315mm (12")
How to Fit
Slide your ducting over each end of the elbow, secure it with a ducting clip or jubilee clip, and seal the joins with aluminium foil duct tape.
Rose's Pro-Tip: "One rigid elbow beats three soft bends. If your ducting has to turn a corner, put an elbow there and keep the flexible ducting pulled straight either side. You'll hear the difference straight away."
Sizes
100mm (4"), 125mm (5"), 150mm (6"), 200mm (8"), 250mm (10") and 315mm (12").
