Advanced Nutrients Coco Plus 70/30

A premium blend of 70% buffered coco coir and 30% horticultural perlite. Naturally low in EC and buffered for a stable pH, it gives you full control over feeding.

Why a 70/30 Mix?

• Even moisture: coco holds water evenly through the pot, so roots don't swing from soaked to bone dry.
• Air at the roots: the perlite prevents compaction and keeps oxygen pockets open, protecting against overwatering and root rot.
• Gnat-resistant: clean coco gives fungus gnats far less to breed in than standard peat compost.
• No fertiliser burn: an unfertilised, buffered base is gentle on freshly repotted roots.

Potting a Monstera, Alocasia or Anthurium? These chunky-rooted climbers want even more air around their roots. Our LECA & Coco 60/40 mixes are the better match.

Before you buy: as an unfertilised base, it needs a liquid feed from day one. The natural pairing is Advanced Nutrients' own Sensi Coco Grow A&B and Sensi Coco Bloom A&B, both pH Perfect and formulated for coco.
