AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp – Anti-Vibration Duct Coupler 4", 6" & 8"
A fan bolted straight to a metal filter or duct is a tuning fork with a motor attached. Every tiny vibration travels along the hard joint and gets amplified into a hum you can hear through walls. The AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp breaks that chain. It's a thick rubber coupler that sits between fan and ducting (or fan and filter), soaking up the vibration before it can travel.
Why use one
- Stops vibration hum. The flexible rubber sleeve isolates the fan from everything it's connected to.
- Airtight, secure joint. Two stainless steel band clamps grip both sides firmly, with no tape needed.
- Forgives misalignment. The rubber flexes, so slightly off-line parts still join cleanly.
- Fits any brand. Sized to standard 4", 6" and 8" spigots, so it works with RAM, AC Infinity, Rhino and other fans and filters.
Rose's Pro-Tip
"Use one on each side of the fan. One between fan and filter and one between fan and ducting fully floats the fan, so its vibration has nowhere to go. Add a silencer after the fan and you'll wonder if it's even switched on."
FAQ
Is it a reducer?
No. Both ends are the same size. To join different sizes, use a duct reducer.
Does it restrict airflow?
No. The bore is the full duct diameter.
