Superthrive – The Original Plant Vitamin Solution, Since 1940

Some products last because of clever marketing. Superthrive has lasted since 1940 because gardeners keep reaching for it at exactly the same moments: repotting day, a plant that's sulking after a move, a tray of seedlings going out into the world. It isn't a fertiliser. It's a concentrated vitamin B1 and kelp tonic that helps plants cope with the stress of change, so they get back to growing sooner.

When to Reach for It

  • Repotting and transplanting: helps reduce transplant shock and gets new roots moving
  • Stressed or struggling plants: after a move, a cold spell, over- or under-watering
  • Seedlings and cuttings: a gentle boost through their most fragile weeks
  • Seed and bulb soaking before planting
  • Cut Christmas trees: in the water of the tree stand

How to Use

Use Dose
Regular watering (houseplants, veg, hydro) About 1ml per 4 litres of water, weekly or every other week
A single houseplant 1 drop in a cup (about 120ml) of water
Transplanting flowers and tender plants 1ml per 4 litres, before and after planting
Transplanting trees and woody shrubs Up to 5ml per 4 litres, before and after planting
Seed and bulb soak 1ml per 4 litres, soak for 15 minutes

Shake well before use. It works alongside any feed, in soil, coco or hydro, and as a foliar spray.

🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: water the plant with Superthrive the day before you repot it, and again straight after. A plant that goes into the move well-watered and comes out of it well-watered loses far fewer leaves to the shock.

Why It Lasts So Long

Superthrive is extremely concentrated. At 1ml per 4 litres, even a small bottle treats hundreds of litres of water, so one bottle sees most gardeners through years of repotting.

Pairs well with: Hygrozyme and Great White mycorrhizae for a healthy root zone.
