IONIC Soil Grow – One-Part Growth Nutrient for Soil – Growth Technology
Type: Mineral
Mineral feeds are dissolved minerals your plant can use straight away. They're fast-acting and precise, but it is possible to overdo them, so stick to the dose.
A Plant Feed That Also Looks After the Soil
Most liquid feeds treat soil as a sort of inconvenient sponge: something to pour nutrients through on the way to the roots. Which is a shame, because a living soil is half the reason plants in pots grow well in the first place.
IONIC Soil Grow is heavily fortified with humic and fulvic acids. Humic acids improve soil structure and the balance of air to water around the roots, act as a natural chelator so nutrients are easier for the plant to take up, and feed the soil's microbes with organic carbon. You're feeding the plant and the soil it lives in, from one bottle.
Why It Works
- Feeds the soil as well as the plant: humic and fulvic acids nourish soil microbes.
- Better structure: improves the air to water ratio around the roots.
- Better uptake: a natural chelating action lifts nutrient availability.
- One-part feed: no A and B to measure or mix in the right order.
For Houseplant & Garden Growers
Leafy houseplants, herbs, veg seedlings and patio pots all benefit from a growth feed that improves the compost while it feeds. Add it to your watering can and your plants get a complete diet, with healthier soil as a bonus.
For Growers
The vegetative base feed for soil. Switch to IONIC Soil Bloom when flowering starts.
- Dose: 5ml/L in weeks 1–2, rising to 7ml/L from week 3.
- When to use: weeks 1–5 of the grow cycle.
- Boosters: pair with IONIC Root Boost at 0.5–1ml/L from week 1, and bring in IONIC Flower Boost from week 5.
- Cal-mag: most soil growers don't need extra early on. Add IONIC Tonic only if you see deficiency symptoms.
Rose's Pro-Tip: Never mix concentrates straight from the bottle. Add each product to your water one at a time and stir between each.
