Mineral feeds are dissolved minerals your plant can use straight away. They're fast-acting and precise, but it is possible to overdo them, so stick to the dose.

Most hydroponic feeds arrive as a little chemistry set: Part A, Part B, sometimes a Part C, each to be measured separately and never, ever mixed neat. It looks professional. It also gives you three chances a week to get something wrong.

IONIC Hydro Grow was developed by Growth Technology out of their own commercial hydroponics experience, and it does something quietly radical: it puts everything the plant needs in a single bottle. One measure, one pour, done. The formula is mineral only, clear, clean and concentrated, with the potassium to nitrogen ratio set exactly for vegetative growth.

For Growers

The vegetative base feed for hydro on soft or RO water. Switch to IONIC Hydro Bloom when flowering starts. On hard or mains tap water, use IONIC Hard Water Grow instead.

Dose: 5ml/L in weeks 1–3, rising to 6ml/L from week 4.
When to use: weeks 1–5 of the grow cycle.

Rose's Pro-Tip: Measure the feed into your water, stir, and then check pH. Adjusting pH before the nutrient goes in is like seasoning a soup before you've added the stock.
