CANNA Terra Vega – Growth Plant Food for Soil & Compost
CANNA Terra Vega – The Growth Feed for Plants Grown in Ordinary Compost
Everything a plant does later, every flower, every tomato, every chilli, gets built on the leaves and roots it makes early on. A plant that starts weak spends the rest of the season catching up. Terra Vega is the feed for that foundation stage, and it's built for the medium most British plants actually live in: soil and peat-based compost, in pots or open ground, indoors or out.
It's the growth half of CANNA's Terra range. It's rich in nitrogen in a form plants can take up immediately, with high-value iron chelates and trace elements for deep green, vigorous leafy growth and a strong root system. When your plants start to flower or set fruit, switch to its partner, CANNA Terra Flores.
Perfect For
Leafy houseplants in multipurpose compost, young tomato, chilli and pepper plants before they flower, herbs and salad leaves in pots, patio and container plants, and anything that's been looking pale and slow.
Key Benefits
- Complete growth-stage feed for soil and compost
- Directly absorbable nitrogen for fast, vigorous leafy growth
- High-value iron chelates and trace elements for deep green leaves
- One formula for hard or soft water, so there are no separate versions to choose between
- Suitable for pots, containers, beds and borders, indoors and out
How to Use
| Stage | Dose |
|---|---|
| Seedlings, cuttings and houseplants | 2ml per litre |
| Leafy growth | 3–4ml per litre |
| Heavy growth | 4–5ml per litre |
Feed with most waterings and give plain water every third or fourth time. Switch to Terra Flores when buds or flowers appear. Leafy crops such as herbs and salads can stay on Terra Vega the whole way through.
🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: if new leaves come through pale or yellowish while the older ones stay green, your plant is hungry for nitrogen. Terra Vega fixes that within a week or two. If it's the old leaves yellowing first, that's usually overwatering, not hunger.
Sizes
1 Litre, 5 Litres, 10 Litres and 20 Litres. At 2–5ml per litre, a 1 litre bottle makes up to 500 litres of feed. Add a measuring syringe for accurate dosing.
