Plagron Vita Race – Iron Foliar Spray
Type: Foliar Feed
Foliar feeds are sprayed straight onto the leaves, where they're absorbed through the leaf surface for a fast, targeted boost.
The Iron Boost That Goes on the Leaves, Not the Roots
When a plant runs short of iron, the new leaves turn pale and yellow while the veins stay green. Feeding iron through the roots works eventually, but soil chemistry often locks it up before the plant can use it. Spraying it straight onto the leaves skips the queue entirely.
Plagron Vita Race is an iron-rich foliar spray for the growth stage and early flowering. With 8% iron plus phosphorus and potassium, it keeps foliage deep green and photosynthesis running at full speed, with visible results in days rather than weeks.
Why It Works
- 8% iron: the key building block for chlorophyll and healthy green leaves.
- Fast-acting: absorbed directly through the leaves.
- Bigger, greener leaves: supports vigorous growth and strong photosynthesis.
- Just once a week: a simple weekly spray.
For Houseplant Lovers
Yellowing new leaves on a houseplant are often a sign of iron deficiency, especially on hard tap water. A weekly mist of Vita Race is a quick, gentle way to green them back up.
For Growers
- Dose: shake well, then add a maximum of 5ml per litre of water (1:200).
- When: spray weekly through the growth stage, up to and including week 3 of flowering.
- How: spray until the leaves are dripping wet. Flush irrigation lines if you use them.
- Best time: early in the morning, when the leaf pores (stomata) are open.
Rose's Pro-Tip: Never spray under strong light or hot sun. Water droplets act like tiny magnifying glasses and can scorch the leaves.
