pH Down Ultra – NPK-Neutral pH Down That Stays Where You Put It

Here's a little-known flaw in most pH Down products: they're made from phosphoric or nitric acid, which means every time you correct your pH you're also quietly adding phosphorus or nitrogen your plant didn't ask for. It's like seasoning a dish with a salt you didn't know was in the stock. Intense Nutrients pH Down Ultra, from the premium Pro Series, takes a different route. It's an NPK-neutral formula based on methanesulfonic acid that lowers pH quickly and stably without disturbing the balance of your feed.

It also holds its correction longer than organic alternatives like citric acid, so your water stays in range rather than drifting back up overnight.

Perfect For

Hydroponic and semi-hydro (LECA, Pon) houseplant growers, DWC and NFT setups, indoor herb and salad gardens, coco growers mixing feed, and anyone in a hard-water area who needs precise pH control without throwing their nutrients off balance.

Key Benefits

NPK-neutral: won't spike phosphorus or nitrogen levels
Fast, stable pH reduction
Longer-lasting stabilisation than citric acid
Highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way

How to Use

Add small amounts to your reservoir or watering can, mix thoroughly, test, and repeat until your desired pH is reached. Always adjust pH as the final step, after all nutrients and additives are in.

Contains: methanesulfonic acid. This is a concentrated acid: wear gloves and eye protection, always add acid to water (never water to acid), and keep out of reach of children and pets.

🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: start with a single drop per litre, stir, and test. With a product this strong it's far easier to add a little more than to bring pH back up after overshooting.
