A lot of budget inline fans are made almost entirely of plastic, which is fine until the first summer of running flat out, 24 hours a day, next to a hot light. Build the System
Pair with a Fox carbon filter (or any filter rated above the fan's airflow) and matching ducting. A Variispeed controller lets you run it at lower, quieter speeds.
🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: a powerful centrifugal fan at full speed can be loud. Run it through a speed controller at 60–80% and add a silencer straight after the fan. You'll keep nearly all the airflow at a fraction of the noise.
