Loadstar 600W Dimmable Digital Ballast

Loadstar 600W Dimmable Digital Ballast

Magnetic ballasts are the old way of running an HPS or MH lamp: heavy, hot and humming, with one fixed setting. A digital ballast does the same job more efficiently, more quietly and more flexibly. The Loadstar 600W digital ballast lets you dial your lamp from 250W up to 660W. That means lower output for young plants or the hottest summer weeks, and full power (plus a little boost) when your plants can use it.

Why Go Digital

• Dimmable 250W to 660W: match the light to the plant's stage and to the weather
• More consistent light output than a magnetic ballast
• Lower running costs and less heat
• Quieter: no magnetic hum

Compatibility

Runs standard HPS and MH lamps up to 600W. Use a 600W lamp to get the full 250–660W range.

🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: on a heatwave day, dropping from 600W to 400W can take several degrees off a tent. It's a much cheaper fix than another fan.
