Light Mix+ carries a gentle, organic slow-release starter charge: enough to get young roots going, but light enough that it won't burn delicate seedlings or cuttings. Because it's a light charge, plan to start a liquid feed after the first couple of weeks.

Light Mix+ by BudPlus

A premium, peat-based potting soil made from black and white peat, perlite and a measured dose of BudPlus's organic slow-release fertiliser. It has the same quality base as BudPlus All Mix+, but with a much lighter nutrient charge, so it's gentle enough for young and sensitive plants.

Like All Mix+, it includes biochar: a carbon-rich organic material that improves soil structure, nutrient availability and water retention. Most light mixes are simply peat, perlite and a little fertiliser, so the biochar is a genuine point of difference.

How to Use

1. Fill your pots or trays and firm gently.
2. Water through thoroughly to activate the slow-release fertiliser.
3. Sow, plant or pot up.
4. Start a gentle liquid feed after about two weeks, or once plants are established.
