pH Down & Line Cleaner – Intense Nutrients Down 'n' Dirty
Down 'n' Dirty – pH Down That Cleans Your System While It Works
Most pH Down products do exactly one job, which is a curious thing to accept when the same bottle could be doing two. Intense Nutrients Down 'n' Dirty lowers the pH of your nutrient solution and acts as a high-performance line cleaner, preventing mineral deposits from building up in reservoirs, pipework, drippers and pumps. One product, one dose, two problems handled.
Its formula also helps clear bacterial slime and algae blockages and discourages salt build-up and fungal growth, so your system keeps flowing freely from the first day of a grow to the last.
Why It Matters
Hard UK tap water is lovely for tea and terrible for plumbing. Limescale and nutrient salts slowly crust inside pumps and drip lines until one day a plant at the end of the row quietly stops getting watered. Down 'n' Dirty treats that as a maintenance problem to prevent rather than a disaster to fix.
Perfect For
Hydroponic and drip-fed systems, indoor herb and salad gardens, DWC and NFT setups, self-watering and automated irrigation, and anyone growing in a hard-water area who needs to bring pH down into the ideal range for nutrient uptake.
Key Benefits
- Lowers nutrient solution pH reliably
- Prevents limescale and mineral deposits in reservoirs, lines and pumps
- Helps clear bacterial slime and algae blockages
- Discourages salt build-up and fungal growth
- Use preventatively for trouble-free running all cycle
How to Use
For pH adjustment: add a small amount to your reservoir, mix thoroughly, re-test and repeat until your target pH is reached.
To prevent mineral build-up: use 1ml per litre as an initial dose, then 0.5ml per litre as a maintenance dose.
Contains: methanesulfonic acid and citric acid. This is a concentrated acid: wear gloves and eye protection, always add acid to water (never water to acid), and keep out of reach of children and pets.
🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: always adjust pH last, after every nutrient and additive is in. Adding feeds shifts the pH, so correcting it first just means doing it twice.
Sizes
250ml, 1 Litre and 5 Litres. Add a measuring syringe for accurate dosing.
