PRO7 BatMix is an exceptional soil blend designed for high yields. A blend of Baltic dark and white peat with perlite, bat guano, a base fertiliser, trace elements, and lime, it offers excellent aeration, and is less prone to compaction due to its unique composition. The mix of peat and perlite gives excellent aeration and an ideal air to water ratio. Base fertilisation gives plants an excellent start, while the bat guano, rich in macro and micronutrients, offers long term background nutrition. This substrate also encourages naturally occurring beneficial microbes and fungi to ensure healthier, more vigorous plants and increased yields.

Why Bat Guano Makes The Difference

Bat guano is naturally rich in phosphorus and potassium — the two nutrients directly responsible for flower development and fruit set. Where nitrogen builds leaves and stems, phosphorus is what pushes a plant to actually commit to blooming and fruiting, and potassium supports strong stems and better overall plant health through that process. It's a natural, slow-release source, so the nutrition is available exactly when flowering and fruiting plants need it most — topped up here by a mineral base fertiliser and trace elements for a faster initial start than a purely organic mix would give.

Q: What is the best way to use PRO7 BatMix?
A: When transplanting, fill a pot and then tap to help the mix settle. Pre-water until run-off occurs. using water at 18-20 °C, pH 6.5-7.5. Tap water is fine, but ideally let the mix stand for 24 hours prior to use. Plant out.
Tip: Leave the pot to stand for 24 hours after watering. This will encourage beneficial microbes to become active and colonise your plants' roots quickly and efficiently. reducing transplant shock,

Growing On
We suggest using VitaLink Earth MAX nutrients to water your plants when using PR07 Bat Mix. Use Vitalink Earth MAX Grow at 1-2 ml per litre of water for seedlings/young plants. For established plants use VitaLink Earth MAX Grow at 2-4 m/L.
Tip: Take care not to over water your plants. The correct watering regime will allow beneficial microbes to create the optimum environment for vigorous and healthy plant growth.
