Type: Organic
Nutrients come from natural sources (like guano, worm castings, or plant matter) and are broken down slowly by soil microbes before your plant can use them. This makes it very hard to overfeed or burn roots, and it builds long-term soil life over time. The tradeoff: it acts more slowly than mineral feeds, and nutrient levels can vary slightly batch to batch since it's a natural product rather than a lab-blended formula.

Plagron Power Roots - Organic Root Stimulator for Soil and Coco

Power Roots is a root-strengthening additive built from organic components: humic acids, seaweed extract, vitamins and hydrolysed proteins. These ingredients work together to increase nutrient absorption and have a direct, positive effect on your plant's root system.

Power Roots promotes the initiation and growth of roots, increases root branching (secondary roots), and thickens root hair - improving root architecture overall. A well-developed root system improves plant growth by increasing the uptake of nutrients and water.

Built For Soil and Coco - Not Recirculating Hydro Systems

Worth being specific about where this belongs: Power Roots' organic components are exactly what soil and coco growers want - gentle, biologically active, and forgiving. But those same organic components can spoil or break down over time sitting in a reservoir, which risks blocking drip lines and fouling water in recirculating hydroponic setups. If you're growing in a hydro system, our mineral-based Hydro Roots is the right choice instead - formulated specifically to stay clean in standing water.

Power Roots is the better fit for:

  • Soil-Based Growing: Container plants, garden beds, and potted houseplants.
  • Coco Coir Systems: Hand-watered or drip-fed coco setups where water isn't recirculated through a shared reservoir.

How to Use

  • Dose: shake well, then add a maximum of 1ml per litre of water (1:1000).
  • When: at every watering, from planting or potting on until the fourth week of flowering.
  • Drip systems: flush the lines through with clean water after use.

🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: start Power Roots at the very first watering after repotting or taking cuttings. That's when new roots are deciding whether to get going.
