Here is one of horticulture's better-kept secrets: in nature, almost no plant feeds alone. Around 90% of land plants live in partnership with mycorrhizal fungi, which wrap around their roots and extend a vast network of threads far beyond where the roots themselves could ever reach. The plant pays them in sugar; the fungi repay it in water and minerals. Bagged compost, sadly, comes without this arrangement. Intense Nutrients OG Granules puts it back.

Each granule carries a living blend of mycorrhizal fungi, free-living fungi and more than 20 species and strains of beneficial bacteria, supported by humates, natural saponins and a microbial feedstock of amino acids and complex carbohydrates to keep the colony thriving while it establishes.

🌿 Rose's Pro-Tip: mycorrhizae don't get on with high-phosphorus feeds or fungicide drenches. If you're inoculating, go easy on both for the first few weeks so the partnership has time to form.
