Bug Stoppa Pesticide-Free Bug & Mildew Spray – Aphid, Whitefly & Spider Mite | Multipacks Save up to 47% | ecofective
Bug Stoppa – pest control that works like a raincoat, not a poison
Most bug sprays are a chemistry lesson. Bug Stoppa, from ecofective, is a physics lesson. It works by physical mode of action: a blend of plant-friendly surfactants coats soft-bodied pests so they can't move or feed. No insecticide, no harvest interval, nothing lingering on your lettuce. It also washes away powdery mildew spores and leaves a little foliar nutrition behind – three jobs, one spray.
Targets: greenfly, blackfly, aphids, whitefly, red spider mite, mealybug and scale insects. Use it on roses, fruit, veg, herbs, shrubs – and houseplants, where spider mite and mealybug love to hide.
💰 Why the single costs more than you'd expect
Posting one pouch costs us nearly as much as posting six, so the single price has to carry the whole parcel. The multipacks don't – and pests don't do one-off visits anyway. Fresh eggs hatch every few days, so you'll be re-spraying weekly through the season.
- Single 1L pouch: £11.49
- 3 Pack: £21.49 – just £7.16 a pouch (save 38%)
- Full Box of 6: £36.49 – just £6.08 a pouch (save 47%, cheaper per pouch than the high street)
Why gardeners like it
- Pesticide-free – physical control, not chemical
- Safe to use around children and pets; bee friendly when used as directed
- No harvest interval – pick and eat (washed) the same day
- Helps remove powdery mildew and feeds the foliage
- Flexible pouch uses up to 55% less plastic than a rigid bottle, with an easy one-handed thumb-pump trigger
- Same formulation used by professional growers and landscapers across the UK and Europe
How to use
- Shake well, remove the trigger lock and twist the nozzle to ON.
- Spray thoroughly onto pests, covering upper and lower leaf surfaces – it only works on bugs it touches.
- Repeat every 5–7 days while pests are present to catch newly hatched eggs.
- Don't spray in direct sun or hot weather (above about 28°C); early morning or evening is best.
🌱 Rose's Pro-Tip: Spider mites live on the undersides of leaves and hate humidity. Turn the plant, spray from below, and mist regularly between treatments – you'll break their cycle twice as fast.
