Atami - High Porosity Cocos 70/30 Aroid

Type: Lightly fertilised (mineral)
This coco comes with a mild mineral NPK 11-27-8 charge, the same enrichment Atami use in their Cocos Substrate. It gives a freshly repotted plant something to draw on straight away, but offers slightly less precision than a fully unfertilised base.

Atami High Porosity Cocos 70/30

A premium blend of 70% aged, washed and buffered coco coir with 30% perlite, for the balance of steady moisture and root-zone air that keeps houseplants thriving.

Why a 70/30 Mix?

• Even moisture: coco holds water evenly through the pot, so roots don't swing from soaked to bone dry.
• Air at the roots: the perlite keeps oxygen pockets open even when fully watered, protecting against root rot.
• Gnat-resistant: clean coco gives fungus gnats far less to breed in than standard peat compost.
• pH neutral: suits a wide range of plants.

How to Use

1. Moisten the mix until it's loose, airy and evenly damp.
2. Pot up your plant or sow your seeds.
3. Start your own feeding once the starter charge tapers off, usually after the first couple of weeks.
